What is your purpose?

For me, planning for a race is not only about the training needed to prepare myself to the training, the pre or post recovery not the planning all the logistics needed to get there. Its has always been about my purpose in life, and to ask myself how can I help and contribute to the community I am visiting.

As an athlete, my prep. and research has to go deep in understanding the community and their needs, coordinate with a trusted source of donations to see whether through this research we can offer help to disadvantaged communities.

So my advice, to all athletes out there or those who are taking their first steps, towards being one; ask yourself: “What is your purpose?” and just go for it.
